- Championships remain active unless otherwise announced by OEL Management
Each season concludes with the Best of the Best Tournament, where the league’s highest-ranked fighters compete for the ultimate title.
Ranking System (ELO)
OEL uses a dynamic Elo rating system that rewards victories based on opponent strength. Defeating stronger opponents earns more Elo. Losing to lower-ranked opponents results in greater Elo deductions.
Win against higher-rated opponent
| Elo Difference | Change |
|---|---|
| 0–20 | +16 |
| 21–50 | +18 |
| 51–100 | +20 |
| 100+ | +24 |
Win against lower-rated opponent
| Elo Difference | Change |
|---|---|
| 0–20 | +16 |
| 21–50 | +14 |
| 51–100 | +12 |
| 100+ | +8 |
Lose against higher-rated opponent
| Elo Difference | Change |
|---|---|
| 0–20 | −16 |
| 21–50 | −14 |
| 51–100 | −12 |
| 100+ | −8 |
Lose against lower-rated opponent
| Elo Difference | Change |
|---|---|
| 0–20 | −16 |
| 21–50 | −18 |
| 51–100 | −20 |
| 100+ | −24 |
This system rewards challenging stronger opponents while encouraging competitive balance throughout the league.
Divisions
Every fighter begins each season at 1000 Elo and progresses by winning ranked fights. Your division changes automatically as your Elo increases or decreases.
| Division | Elo |
|---|---|
| Unranked | Below 1000 |
| Bronze | 1000–1050 |
| Silver | 1051–1100 |
| Gold | 1101–1150 |
| Platinum | 1151+ |
Players can both earn promotions and suffer relegation based on their current Elo.
